Our History

1974 Industrias Monterrey started operations manufacturing corrugated steel culverts and highway guardrail.		2006 FORMET is incorporated into Verzatec, a spin-off of Grupo IMSA.
1983 Forjas Metálicas (FORMET) is legally incorporated as a Grupo IMSA subsidiary with highway products.		2013 Trinity Industries acquires Formet’s assets from Verzatec, and becomes part of Trinity Industries de Mexico.
1995 FORMET enters the Mexican lattice steel towers and substations market		2018 Arcosa Industries de Mexico is created as a spinoff of Trinity Industries de Mexico’s energy division, maintaining FORMET as brand.
2001 FORMET enters the US lattice towers market.
